Album Covers pt.1 - Pyramid Themes

All of the album covers below have some form of the pyramid/eye symbology. Has anyone ever stopped to think about why so many artists use this very same symbology when the Egyptian civilization has not been around for centuries on end? Are they trying to tell us that they maintain a certain affiliation by flashing these symbols to their fans frequently? You decide.

Modern Talking
Many esoteric symbols on the left hand side of the cover.

Earth Wind and Fire - Electric Universe.
I will devote an entire post to the symbology on all the EWF albums
They are quite complex and deserve separate recognition.

Earth Wind and Fire - Spirit

Steve Miller Band

The International Noise Conspiracy

Daft Punk - Alive

Canibus - For Whom The Beat Tolls

Eprhyme - Waywordwonderwill

The 13th Floor Elevators

Asia - The name itself forms the pyramid with the capstone not yet in place.

The A's in Aaliyah's name are pyramids... not actually A's. You can see the typefont
change into a symbol below the name. Pyramid with a dot (eye) in the middle.

Looks like they are aware of who controls the money!

The lotus flower appeared in legends originating from ancient Egypt. It played an important part in ancient Egyptian religion. Sesen A Lotus Flower. This is a symbol of the sun, of creation and rebirth. Because at night the flower closes and sinks underwater, at dawn it rises and opens again.
Thus the pyramid seen here and the name of the Album.

This one is a little more subliminal than outward. The piano itself forms the pyramid around John Legend.

The Alan Parsons Project also gave us the album cover featuring the Eye of Horus and the song "Eye In the Sky". You can view that cover on this page http://myztifyan.blogspot.com/2009/10/they-all-love-one-eye-theme.html

The members of Pearl Jam Standing in a Pyramid formation making this a subtle pyramid tribute.
But if that isn't clear enough take a look at the cover below and it's explaination.

This is the outer cover of another Pearl Jam Album. Innocent enough right?
But below you see what happens when you fold the cover outward.

The Pearl Jam cover reveals the pyramid/eye only once it's opened out!

A mixture of the pyramid with the alien/technology theme.
